K & N Filters to sponsor 3rd Annual ET Bracket Triple Crown at Woodburn Dragstrip July 26-28, 2013

K & N Filters has signed on to sponsor the 3rd Annual ET Bracket Triple Crown event at Woodburn Dragstrip on the weekend of July 26-28, 2013. The event will feature 3 days of payouts with prize money totaling over $30,000. Competition will take place in Electronics (6.50-11.99) and Non-Electronics (9.00 & Slower). For our motorcycle racers, the NW Drag Bike group will be running on Friday and Saturday. In addition, Yukon Gear & Axle is sponsoring a bonus race on Friday evening where 32 Door Cars will take on 32 Dragsters in a winner ($4,200) take all shootout. And on Saturday night the K & N Filters Ultimate Gambler will take place with competition in Electronics & Non-Electronics.
In addition to the K & N Filters ET Bracket Triple Crown there will be two evenings (Friday & Saturday Night) of exciting race action in Nostalgia Nitro Funny Car, Nostalgia Alcohol Funny Car, Top Alcohol Dragster, Top Alcohol Funny Car, Top Fuel Harleys, Outlaw Roadsters, Factory Experimental, Jet Dragsters and Ed Jones’ Jelly Belly Wheelstanding Fire Truck. It had been over 30 years since the last time that a night event took place at Woodburn Dragstrip and in 2012 a packed house was the result.

Friday: David Biancalana – Electronics, Steve Kelly – Non-Electronics. David Biancalana – Yukon Gears Door Cars vs Dragsters.
Saturday: Randy Pressel – Electronics, Mike Pliska – Non-Electronics, K & N Filters Ultimate Gambler: Mike Hillsendager – Electronics, Rick Welter – Non-Electronics.
Sunday: Kevin Heffington – Electronics, Chris Stone – Non-Electronics.
