LES SCHWAB TIRE CENTERS & TOYO TIRES - IMPORT & SPORT COMPACT CHALLENGE SERIES

Two classes compete in this series: Import Pro and Import Sportsman Import Pro (13.99 & quicker) and Import Sportsman ( 14.00 & slower) are ET Bracket classes open to any foreign manufactured automobile or any FWD or AWD automobile.  The Quick 8 class is governed by the same rules as Quick 16 in the 2007 NHRA Sport Compact Rulebook.  It is open to any FWD 4– or 6-cylinder automobile, import or domestic. 

RWD and AWD vehicles must be of import manufacture or domestic-labeled, joint-manufactured platform.  In Quick 8, the engine  also must be of import manufacture or of  domestic labeled joint-manufactured platform.  The Street Bike Shootout is open to any motorcycle, import or domestic.  No wheelie bars or slicks are permitted.

Beginning in 2007, two members from the Sports Compact Series will be invited to join the Woodburn Dragstrip Summit ET Finals Team to participate for team points on September 7, 8, and 9, 2007.  This event will be held at Woodburn Dragstrip.  The points leaders in Import Pro and Import Sportsman at the end of the August 17th event will be invited to participate in this event.  The final series champions will be determined at the September 29 event.
