Class Spotlight: New-for-2014 Hole in the Hood Series
The Hole in the Hood Series will run six times, on April 6, May 24, June 1, July 6, September 6, and October 5.
There have been questions regarding what is the definition of the ‘Hole in the Hood’ category. Hopefully these pictures will help to clarify. The definition for the Hole in the Hood class is: “”All vehicles must comply under Pro or Sportsman Rules. Full bodied cars only. Your vehicle must be supercharged or tunnel rammed, or carbureted where the carburetor must be protruding through hood. No hoop scoops allowed. All exposed carbs must have air filter or flash shield. All other combinations subject to approval by Tech official.””
Included are four pictures that display what constitutes a Hole in the Hood vehicle.
