At the Season Opener, it was Dan Cyr facing Craig Bloom in the finals.  Craig went red and Dan picked up his win, running 10.353 on a 10.33 dial.

At the Fire and Thunder, the finals featured Tim Ellis and Hal Sorensen.  Tim took the win on Hal's .009 red.  Just for spite, Tim ran a 12.870 on his 12.87 dial-in.  Larry Peterson was the lone semi-finalist.

  •  At the LODRS Les Schwab Challenge, there were separate classes for Stock and Super Stock, rather than a combo.  In Stock, Hal Sorensen, lost in the sixth and final round to Jody Lang.  Most of the other players lost in the second round.  By advancing to the sixth round, Hal established a 50 point lead over Craig Bloom, with Larry Peterson in third place, just 10 additional points behind.

So now the stage is set for the final event in the series, The Fall Classic.  Hal lost in the first round, opening the door for someone else to overtake him.  Larry Peterson advanced to the second round where he fell victim to Steve Hanby, who would advance to the finals.  There Steve would meet Greg Keilman, who had disposed of Fadi Atiyeh in round 3.    In the final, Greg ran within one hundredth of his dial to defeat Steve.

So, lets look at the point total to see who will receive the series bonus checks at the Woodburn Awards Banquet on October 25th.  Congratulations to all who participated and again we say "thanks" to Larry Peterson from carhelp.com for all of his support.
