2011 Dates
May 28th – Saturday, Nostalgia Hot Rod Series #1
June 25th & 26th – Saturday & Sunday, OLDIES BUT GOODIES, Nostalgia Hot Rod Series #2
July 9th – Sunday, Nostalgia Hot Rod Series #3
August 13th & 14th – Saturday & Sunday, HOT ROD NATIONALS, Nostalgia Hot Rod Series #4
September 4th – Sunday, Nostalgia Hot Rod Series #5
There will be a total of 8 classes that make up the Nostalgia Hot Rod Series in 2011. The Nostalgia Hot Rod series will consist of 5 events where points will be earned. A series champion will be crowned in Top Gas, Hot Rod I, Hot Rod II, Street Machine I, Street Machine II, Inline/Flathead, Stick Shift and Pickup. Class Champions will receive their awards at the Woodburn Dragstrip Champions banquet at the conclusion of the season. Points will be calculated in accordance with the 2011 NHRA Rulebook.
Here are the classes and the class breaks:
Top Gas (1975 & Older) (7.00 – 11.99) Electronics allowed, .500 full tree w/crosstalk
Hot Rod I (1959 & Older vehicles)(7.00 – 11.99) No electronics allowed, .500 full tree, dial your own ET
Hot Rod II (1959 & Older vehicles) (12.00 & Slower) No electronics allowed, .500 full tree, dial your own ET
Street Machine I (1960 – 1975) (7.00 – 11.99) No electronics allowed, .500 full tree, dial your own ET
Street Machine II (1960 – 1975) (12.00 & Slower) No electronics allowed, .500 full tree, dial your own ET
Inline/Flathead (1975 & Older) No electronics allowed, .500 full tree, dial your own ET
Stick Shift (1975 & Older) No electronics allowed, .500 full tree, dial your own ET
Pickup (1975 & Older) (12.00 & Slower) No electronics allowed, .500 full tree, dial your own ET
Entry fees on single day events is $40 for Car & Driver, Adult $10, Child 6-14 $5, Children under 6 are Free. Please refer to the 2011 Schedule for entry fees for the Oldies but Goodies and Hot Rod Nationals.
