Friday Night Fun Drags
Friday Night Fun Drags will be run on these dates during the 2011 season: June 3rd, 17th, July 1st, 8th, 22nd, August 5th, and 19th. Gates open for all the Friday Night Fun Drags at 3 pm, grudge racing at 3:30 with racing concluding at dusk (approx. 9:00 pm). Friday Night Fun Drags is a great time to get as many runs on your vehicle as time allows. At Friday Night Fun Drags mufflers are required. Woodburn Dragstrip is introducing a new program to it’s Friday Night Fun Drags. It is the 100 MPH Club. To be eligible for this program you must run 100 mph in the ΒΌ mile at Woodburn Dragstrip during any Friday Night Fun Drags (June 3rd, 17th, July 1st, 8th, 22nd, August 5th & 19th). Simply bring your time-slip that has the 100 MPH run on it to the Timing Tower to receive a special 100 MPH Club decal that can be displayed on your vehicle. Along with receiving a decal, racers will see their name listed on the Woodburn Dragstrip website under Racer Info and then 100 MPH Club acknowledging their accomplishment. Racers who qualify for the 100 MPH Club will then be invited to an Invitation Only event for all 100 MPH Club Qualifiers. The 100 MPH Club event will take place on Saturday, September 10, 2011 at Woodburn Dragstrip. The 100 MPH Club event will be split into two classes: Slicks & Street Tires. This new program will feature those special individuals who reach 100 MPH in the quarter-mile.
